Fri-yay! Weekend is upon us and that means crafty time, doesn't it? If you are looking for something to get you started, why don't you try 7 Dot Studio blog and the current challenge (link). To me steampunk means gears, rusty colors, textures and old photos. I tried to combine all those elements in this journal cover. There’s chipboard gears and there’s brown and rusty colors. For texture part I used a denim journal at the first place and then added rust paste to the journal as well as used different materials. Old photo part was an easy one as there’s plenty to choose from in the 7 Dots Studio collections, for example the new Fortune-teller or the older Cold Country.
